The app is free to use. You don’t have to pay for it. We are earning money by cooperating with health insurances and other healthcare providers to cover the costs of the service.
The app is intended for users with common running injuries that can easily be treated at home. Currently it contains treatment plans for hamstring strains, calf strains, Achilles tendinopathy, runner’s knee, plantar fasciitis, meniscus tears, and shin splints.
If you have severe pain or swelling or you’re unsure about what injury you have, please consult a healthcare professional before you use the app as the treatment plans may not be right for you.
You may be able to use the app once your doctor or physiotherapist has diagnosed your injury and indicated that it is safe for you to use the app.
The Exakt Health app is publicly available in Europe, the EEA and the UK.
If you’re from a different country, you may be able to use it as a beta-tester. Simply fill in the signup form and we will get back to you shortly.
Why is it not available world wide? To ensure the best level of care, the app has to be registered as a medical device and every country has its own process for this.
